I absolutely love this place. Would 110% recommend, especially if you’re a beginner! No joke, I look forward to going in every time I do. They treat you like family in there, it’s not just a transaction. I’ve tried a couple different places in Ohio in the beginning of my journey but none have been quite like the Botanist. The Botanist is my go to shop, every time. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff (which is extremely helpful). And a wide range of QUALITY products. Good news for bargain shoppers too, you can come in and quite literally get a deal on something different every. day.Not to mention, they like to give back! Hat/glove drives in the winter, canned food drives, always accepting donations for all kinds of different charitable organizations, I’ve seen them do it all!This is where I’ve frequented for the last 2.5-3 years. I strongly recommend going in to check it out if you haven’t. But don’t take it from me, go in and experience it yourself!

My first visit, I met Gary and he took his time explaining different strains to me and what they are best used for, and honestly he’s been a big help ever since. Not a great experience today. There must’ve been something wrong with the chip on my debit card and the ATM would not accept the card . I approached a guy with brown hair, white shirt. I told him my chip wasn’t working in the ATM. He replied twice “okay?” An attitude like what do you want me to do about it? Completely rude about it, talking to me like I’m stupid. “Sorry, our card machines are down , the atm is the only option.” was a response I might have expected. I spend good money at this dispensary weekly, I pointed the man out and expressed my experience to another employee. I used the little cash in my wallet to grab something and I will not be returning. I manage a store myself and pride myself in customer service. Incredibly disappointing the attitude he had for absolutely no reason. My eyes got big, I completely did not expect him to talk to me like that. Unfortunately, one bad experience can cost a customer.

This would be a 5 star review because i love thier curbside but I'm just so frustrated with them they never have the right THC % listed online I know the BOP allows a 3% variance but they abuse this it literally takes less then a minute to change the THC% on Jane as new batches come available. It's a very sketchy sales tactic to move lower thc products. I always ask them to call me if the THC is different then what is listed online alot of time they don't and the even more frustrating thing is you cannot change curbside orders even if you call in ahead of time then blame it on the board of Pharmacy which is a complete lie. So i wait for my alotted time they only allow you 15min window (where zen lets you pick up anytime) then If something is wrong I have to park and go in regardless.They finally started offering some really good deals once the new dispensary started getting built next door....

they'll switch you out quick I ordered 28 percent went picked it up it was 21 percent I called and they said it can be anywhere within a ten percent gap difference in what they give you and its within their policy i'm just going to go to zen leaf from now on where they tell you the percentage is right before they put it in the bag

0 stars for customer service. i was considering quitting due to the lack of real quality. today i was not paying attention and they sold me ground trash. i don't buy ground trash. thank you for giving me the final push over the edge to quit. i need my money worse than you or the state. have a great time trying to sell the garbage to someone else. i will never be back. if they didn't change employees every other day they might know their customers. i have been going in there since the beginning of them opening. after their phone tender argued with me about points, that i had to bring to their attention, and still after i did they would not admit their mistake, and then actually admitted i was right but would not listen to me telling them they were wrong. disrespectful and rude phone tenders, a no return policy once you walk out the door even if you never opened it. what happened to the gasolina you could only get 1/10s of? it was real marijuana. i suggest shopping somewhere else if you are going to purchase without surprises. you won't have to worry about kicking me out over your incompetent staff starting arguments over anything dealing with this process. I GO THERE TO RELIEVE STRESS, NOT GET IT.

Highly recommend! I will not write a huge review because most don’t like to read that long. I want to say thank you to everyone that works at the Botanist. I have always been treated well, my questions are always answered without anyone making me feel dumb or unknowledgeable. I am new to medical marijuana because pain management doctors only care about their license these days. I had an incident with a gummy that had never given me a reaction before. I contacted them via Facebook and I must say the customer service is outstanding. They went above and beyond to find out of the ingredients had changed or if the CBN levels changed to make me have a reactions. Nothing had changed. I am under a lot of stress do to a recent loss of my mother so we all are guessing it’s my body’s was of dealing with my stress not the gummies. They even offered to send me a little something for “my troubles”. I am blown away by the he kindness and support from the Botanist. I have been to other places and have been treated horribly and never answered my questions rather because they didn’t know or didn’t care to help. I will not be going anywhere else for my medical needs except the Botanist. Thank you, again from the bottom of my heart.

I online order every time, its a waste of time most every time. Last time was MY last. I waited twenty five minutes ( No big deal) I watched 4 people come in after me without online orders make order's get called before me. Cashier finally calls my name she ran my card once, and said I gotta get money out atm. I told her I don't really have the extra $3.50 . So she put my order away and calls up someone else. I HAVE EPILEPSY And had Siesures Last weekend, because I depended on them. And was denied 😔. I don't mean to be rude but they should be ashamed to be affiliated with the term medical.

I have saved this one and I have taken a picture and it is attached That Interferes with the weight and the amount were being sold for the price that we pay. If you could look into this matter I would appreciate it. Thank you so much! Other than that you guys are amazing. I prefer to come all the way down there as opposed to the one in Akron which I’m closer to but your facility is nicer.

A lot of trial to find out what methods, strengths, and combinations work best for you. Insurance does not cover. Pricey (CASH ONLY) and have to shop often depending on how often you use and strength.
It was a little hard to find but once we did the customer service and selection was excellent. Look for the giant concrete awning and you will find the sign. It was my very first time and I will absolutely be going back.

The prices in Ohio are high and every little bit of savings helps. Not all of us keep the same hours they do and miss out on their discounts or the amount you need to buy to get a small percentage off the total is too high.

I love the atmosphere of the botanist. And they always have good products and a wide variety. My biggest find here is actually an employee though. Lowell Thomas is the best budtender I have had so far. His knowledge of the products is outstanding and he is interesting just to talk to. I am very picky about my herb and he hasn't steered me wrong yet. I especially like his knowledge about the different strains. I feel as though I don't even need to do my homework on the relationships of the strains. For example, I feel I can say to him I liked x strain, which is not in stock, and want something like it. He is ready to suggest strain y and is dead on. Thanks a lot Lowell and everyone else at the botanist.

They have a nice display of products (packages) from the top Ohio cultivators. Everyone is respectful of the public heath issue and wear masks and gloves. One complaint, INVENTORY. Where are the 1 g vape cartridges where are the 1/2 ounce and whole ounces. Products that are small quantities cut us short on our days. I can get a 1 gram vape cartridge and I can get a 1/2 gram vape cartridge and they both equal ONE Day. Please provide more inventory that allow PATIENTS (not recreational users) to have medication every day and not run out... ever run out of medication that you need? Not fun.

This will take a moment to explain, but hopefully this review will be helpful for those who rely on dispensaries for serious medical conditions. The Botanist was the first dispensary I went to in Ohio. It was not long after they opened, and at the time I had frustrations about pricing and limited supplies. It's hard to say whether or not the staff was knowledgeable about medical conditions back then, because you can't make worthwhile recommendations with a minimal line of products. As dispensaries opened closer to my home, I took my business elsewhere. Let me just say that The Botanist recently won my business back in a big way! When the COVID crisis hit, the dispensary closest to my home totally abandoned their patients!! They switched to curbside services only, which was fine, but their phone lines were busy for nearly a week; then they closed for 4 days, only to reopen for half a day, then finally announced closure until further notice. The next nearest dispensary responded to this unprecedented crisis by raising all of their prices and pushing product that tasted like it was harvested when Nixon was president. I finally decided to drive an hour and 15 minutes to get to The Botanist and am so glad I brought my business back to them. Erin took my order and she was amazing in every possible way. She listened to me cry about poor treatment at other dispensaries, was patient through the ordering process, made outstanding suggestions based on my conditions and the amount I could afford to spend. She was so great I asked how I could let her boss know what outstanding service she provided. A bit later I pulled up, and received my order immediately. The products were fresh and of high caliber as far as potency and effect. I am taking the time to write this both as a thank you to Erin for being so helpful in my hour of need, but also to share this info w/ other patients. I had no idea how terribly these other facilities would treat their patients until this unexpected crisis hit. The Botanist truly deserves to be commended for continuing to operate efficiently, and providing consistent care to their customers. If you are looking for a dispensary to call home, I can assure you from experience that you will be in good hands if you select this business to meet your needs. Thank you again! (Kristen)

Every time I come in I receive a very friendly greeting by seemingly everyone, then am helped by any of the knowledgeable bud tenders. I always feel happy, calm, and at peace with my medication decisions. They are my absolute favorite dispensary!!! This is a pretty big deal you didn't think you would be the only one to show up did you? The staff was very kind and helped direct people with walkie talkies and a number system. They have to close on the dot so people were turned away the 1st day but you keep your ticket and come back the next. I had 2 wait 5 hours on the second day. They were very nice to offer heated seating in a tent with hot chocolate, coffee, tea and cider for those waiting. Parking is tight but they had an optional valet. So you go up get your ticket and fill out a patient intake form, be prepared to pay cash have your driver license as well as a printed or digital copy of your Card from the pharmacy board with the QR code so they can scan it. Staff are there to answer ANY questions about cannabis they took groups in 2-6 at a time varying throughout the day. Once you are called to go in you will go inside and hand the admin your intake form. There is a pharmacist on hand to help you with what might help you. as of the second day they had only flower but staff informed that much more is on its way in the coming months. While in the waiting room there is seating and you will be called in through double locking security doors along with a staff member. I didn't get to go back until after 6 but their CEO Dave Neundorfer took us back. It was nice to see a business owner so hands on with opening day. I heard many people complain about waiting that day. I had nothing to tell them this is new territory and you should not be hard on a business to take on such a big project. I had a wonderful experience and talking with staff about the industry as well as their plans to open more dispensaries in other cities like Columbus. The prices were very fair. Ask the staff to explain their pricing they distributed very nicely printed menus that explained THC Content and CBD Content. There is even more information on the labeling of their padckaging. They took 50% off of everything and a 'daily unit'= 1/10 or 2.83 grams we were allowed 7 daily units so as to allow others to make purchases as well so a little over a half oz for under $200 Very fair! But anyway you are taken to the sales floor where they have display cases setup and have a number of items for sale as well. They said they were going to put in a seed bar in the future as well as allow online ordering in the future I believe? don't quote me on that. You talk with some very nice ladies at the cash register which will help you make decisions on what you should get. You place your order and it is filled in about 10 minutes. I had such a good time and highly encourage anyone to come to the Botanist.

The Botanist is my go to shop, every time. Very friendly, knowledgeable staff (which is extremely helpful). And a wide range of QUALITY products.     Not a great experience today. There must’ve been something wrong with the chip on my debit card and the ATM would not accept the card . I approached a guy with brown hair, white shirt. I told him my chip wasn’t working in the ATM. He replied twice “okay?” An attitude like what do you want me to do about it? Completely rude about it, talking to me like I’m stupid. “Sorry, our card machines are down , the atm is the only option.” was a response I might have expected. I spend good money at this dispensary weekly, I pointed the man out and expressed my experience to another employee. I used the little cash in my wallet to grab something and I will not be returning. I manage a store myself and pride myself in customer service. Incredibly disappointing the attitude he had for absolutely no reason. My eyes got big, I completely did not expect him to talk to me like that. Unfortunately, one bad experience can cost a customer.

    This would be a 5 star review because i love thier curbside but I'm just so frustrated with them they never have the right THC % listed online I know the BOP allows a 3% variance but they abuse this it literally takes less then a minute to change the THC% on Jane as new batches come available. It's a very sketchy sales tactic to move lower thc products. I always ask them to call me if the THC is different then what is listed online alot of time they don't and the even more frustrating thing is you cannot change curbside orders even if you call in ahead of time then blame it on the board of Pharmacy which is a complete lie. So i wait for my alotted time they only allow you 15min window (where zen lets you pick up anytime) then If something is wrong I have to park and go in regardless.They finally started offering some really good deals once the new dispensary started getting built next door....

    0 stars for customer service. i was considering quitting due to the lack of real quality. today i was not paying attention and they sold me ground trash. i don't buy ground trash. thank you for giving me the final push over the edge to quit. i need my money worse than you or the state. have a great time trying to sell the garbage to someone else. i will never be back. if they didn't change employees every other day they might know their customers. i have been going in there since the beginning of them opening. after their phone tender argued with me about points, that i had to bring to their attention, and still after i did they would not admit their mistake, and then actually admitted i was right but would not listen to me telling them they were wrong. disrespectful and rude phone tenders, a no return policy once you walk out the door even if you never opened it. what happened to the gasolina you could only get 1/10s of? it was real marijuana. i suggest shopping somewhere else if you are going to purchase without surprises. you won't have to worry about kicking me out over your incompetent staff starting arguments over anything dealing with this process. I GO THERE TO RELIEVE STRESS, NOT GET IT.

    Highly recommend! I will not write a huge review because most don’t like to read that long. I want to say thank you to everyone that works at the Botanist. I have always been treated well, my questions are always answered without anyone making me feel dumb or unknowledgeable. I am new to medical marijuana because pain management doctors only care about their license these days. I had an incident with a gummy that had never given me a reaction before. I contacted them via Facebook and I must say the customer service is outstanding. They went above and beyond to find out of the ingredients had changed or if the CBN levels changed to make me have a reactions. Nothing had changed. I am under a lot of stress do to a recent loss of my mother so we all are guessing it’s my body’s was of dealing with my stress not the gummies. They even offered to send me a little something for “my troubles”. I am blown away by the he kindness and support from the Botanist. I have been to other places and have been treated horribly and never answered my questions rather because they didn’t know or didn’t care to help. I will not be going anywhere else for my medical needs except the Botanist. Thank you, again from the bottom of my heart.

Not to mention knowledgeable and actually care about what product will benefit you. I didn’t feel judged or pressured to purchase anything. As far as other reviews saying prices are high, I feel they are reasonable considering you are get legit products and not something that could be laced. As far as the building itself, very clean, organized and well displayed. Special thanks to Erin for responding to my emails to prepare me for my first visit. You guys are great and I will be back!!

    Great people. They know their stuff. I am not quite happy though with the quality of the product. The flower is fine. This is the third time I have found stems in the containers. I have saved this one and I have taken a picture and it is attached That Interferes with the weight and the amount were being sold for the price that we pay. If you could look into this matter I would appreciate it. Thank you so much! Other than that you guys are amazing. I prefer to come all the way down there as opposed to the one in Akron which I’m closer to but your facility is nicer.

We like to order online and go pick-up😊UPDATE: My husband and I have been coming here for about 9 months now and this is THE BEST DISPENSARY EVER! The customer service is OUTSTANDING! The facility is beautiful, clean, organized, helpful, etc. The staff is ALWAYS kind!! Always helpful! I came in crying today from an anxiety attack for the 1st time there and they made me feel like FAMILY!💜💖 The products they have here are exquisite! So many different options and they update items and deals daily/weekly! We LOVE it here! I 100/100 recommend!❤💜💖

They are priced higher than everywhere else and their sales are non existent. Today for instance they had three items on sale. 3/400. I only go here because they are close and open the latest.     Very helpful, efficient, friendly and quick. Pretty good selection for Ohio. New products added regularly. Have had medical card for 2 1/2 months. A lot of trial to find out what methods, strengths, and combinations work best for you. Insurance does not cover. Pricey (CASH ONLY) and have to shop often depending on how often you use and strength.
    It was a little hard to find but once we did the customer service and selection was excellent. Look for the giant concrete awning and you will find the sign. It was my very first time and I will absolutely be going back.

    Cool shop, not sure why it seems to get a bad rap from people. I was treated great, could have asked a zillion questions without hesitation.     This location is great. The associates are all nice and super helpful. Only thing I would change for the botanist, in general, is there is not rewards or loyalty program. The prices in Ohio are high and every little bit of savings helps. Not all of us keep the same hours they do and miss out on their discounts or the amount you need to buy to get a small percentage off the total is too high.

    I love the atmosphere of the botanist. And they always have good products and a wide variety. My biggest find here is actually an employee though. Lowell Thomas is the best budtender I have had so far. His knowledge of the products is outstanding and he is interesting just to talk to. I am very picky about my herb and he hasn't steered me wrong yet. I especially like his knowledge about the different strains. I feel as though I don't even need to do my homework on the relationships of the strains. For example, I feel I can say to him I liked x strain, which is not in stock, and want something like it. He is ready to suggest strain y and is dead on. Thanks a lot Lowell and everyone else at the botanist.

They have a nice display of products (packages) from the top Ohio cultivators. Everyone is respectful of the public heath issue and wear masks and gloves. One complaint, INVENTORY. Where are the 1 g vape cartridges where are the 1/2 ounce and whole ounces. Products that are small quantities cut us short on our days. I can get a 1 gram vape cartridge and I can get a 1/2 gram vape cartridge and they both equal ONE Day. Please provide more inventory that allow PATIENTS (not recreational users) to have medication every day and not run out... ever run out of medication that you need? Not fun.

    This will take a moment to explain, but hopefully this review will be helpful for those who rely on dispensaries for serious medical conditions. The Botanist was the first dispensary I went to in Ohio. It was not long after they opened, and at the time I had frustrations about pricing and limited supplies. It's hard to say whether or not the staff was knowledgeable about medical conditions back then, because you can't make worthwhile recommendations with a minimal line of products. As dispensaries opened closer to my home, I took my business elsewhere. Let me just say that The Botanist recently won my business back in a big way! When the COVID crisis hit, the dispensary closest to my home totally abandoned their patients!! They switched to curbside services only, which was fine, but their phone lines were busy for nearly a week; then they closed for 4 days, only to reopen for half a day, then finally announced closure until further notice. The next nearest dispensary responded to this unprecedented crisis by raising all of their prices and pushing product that tasted like it was harvested when Nixon was president. I finally decided to drive an hour and 15 minutes to get to The Botanist and am so glad I brought my business back to them. Erin took my order and she was amazing in every possible way. She listened to me cry about poor treatment at other dispensaries, was patient through the ordering process, made outstanding suggestions based on my conditions and the amount I could afford to spend. She was so great I asked how I could let her boss know what outstanding service she provided. A bit later I pulled up, and received my order immediately. The products were fresh and of high caliber as far as potency and effect. I am taking the time to write this both as a thank you to Erin for being so helpful in my hour of need, but also to share this info w/ other patients. I had no idea how terribly these other facilities would treat their patients until this unexpected crisis hit. The Botanist truly deserves to be commended for continuing to operate efficiently, and providing consistent care to their customers. If you are looking for a dispensary to call home, I can assure you from experience that you will be in good hands if you select this business to meet your needs. Thank you again! (Kristen)

Every time I come in I receive a very friendly greeting by seemingly everyone, then am helped by any of the knowledgeable bud tenders. I always feel happy, calm, and at peace with my medication decisions. They are my absolute favorite dispensary!!!     Ignore the 1 star reviews, they are from people who didn't make enough time to wait. People show up hours before they open. This is a pretty big deal you didn't think you would be the only one to show up did you? The staff was very kind and helped direct people with walkie talkies and a number system. They have to close on the dot so people were turned away the 1st day but you keep your ticket and come back the next. I had 2 wait 5 hours on the second day. They were very nice to offer heated seating in a tent with hot chocolate, coffee, tea and cider for those waiting. Parking is tight but they had an optional valet. So you go up get your ticket and fill out a patient intake form, be prepared to pay cash have your driver license as well as a printed or digital copy of your Card from the pharmacy board with the QR code so they can scan it. Staff are there to answer ANY questions about cannabis they took groups in 2-6 at a time varying throughout the day. Once you are called to go in you will go inside and hand the admin your intake form. There is a pharmacist on hand to help you with what might help you. as of the second day they had only flower but staff informed that much more is on its way in the coming months. While in the waiting room there is seating and you will be called in through double locking security doors along with a staff member. I didn't get to go back until after 6 but their CEO Dave Neundorfer took us back. It was nice to see a business owner so hands on with opening day. I heard many people complain about waiting that day. I had nothing to tell them this is new territory and you should not be hard on a business to take on such a big project. I had a wonderful experience and talking with staff about the industry as well as their plans to open more dispensaries in other cities like Columbus. The prices were very fair. Ask the staff to explain their pricing they distributed very nicely printed menus that explained THC Content and CBD Content. There is even more information on the labeling of their padckaging. They took 50% off of everything and a 'daily unit'= 1/10 or 2.83 grams we were allowed 7 daily units so as to allow others to make purchases as well so a little over a half oz for under $200 Very fair! But anyway you are taken to the sales floor where they have display cases setup and have a number of items for sale as well. They said they were going to put in a seed bar in the future as well as allow online ordering in the future I believe? don't quote me on that. You talk with some very nice ladies at the cash register which will help you make decisions on what you should get. You place your order and it is filled in about 10 minutes.
