Medical marijuana patients in Arkansas purchased $68 million worth of products at the state’s 38 dispensaries in the first three months of the year, according to the latest sales report from the state Department of Finance and Administration.

Patients bought 5,612 pounds of products for $22.1 million in February and another 6,069 pounds for $22.7 million in March. Patients bought 17,240 pounds for $68 million over the first three months of 2024.
Suite 443 in Hot Springs was the state’s top-selling dispensary across February and March, with 1,080 pounds sold, followed by Natural Relief Dispensary of Sherwood with 1,067.

The state collected $4.87 million in tax revenue related to medical marijuana sales during the two-month period. The state has collected $7.37 million in marijuana sales tax revenue so far this year and more than $127 million since the industry began in 2019, according to the report.
The state Department of Health reported 102,517 active patient cards last week. The 100,000 mark was eclipsed for the first time in April.
