Under the direction of an assigned laboratory manager or supervisor, the Selection Specialist will perform all sampling duties undertaken at the client facility.
Job Summary: Travel to and from client facilities, Collecting samples for laboratory testing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Understanding State Guidelines.
Knowing Supplies needed for each Sampling Event.
Driving to and from clients.
Filling out corresponding paperwork for sampling.
Understanding of METRC/ OR MJ Freeway.
Understanding of Sampling Procedures/ Quantity of product to take from the client.
Informing the Senior Driver when the Sampling Vehicle needs maintenance.
Being Professional in day to day tasks and events.
Understanding of Tests we offer.
Cleaning of the lab
Dispose of old vials
Qualifications: GED or High School Diploma
Education and/or Experience: GED or High School Diploma
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Knowledge of Marijuana Products. Ability to use a scale and accurately weigh out samples.
Must be 21 years or older.
Critical thinking, judgment and decision making skills.
Ability to follow standard operating procedures.
Competency in MS Office products and ability to quickly learn other software applications
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations: Must have a valid driver’s license
Safety Sensitive Position: Driving of a company vehicle
Everyday Conversations with clients.
Physical Demands: Lifting of briefcase and sampling kits when going into a client facility.
Work Environment: Car, lab, Client facilities
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday.
Time: Differs everyday AVG (5AM-7PM) Flexibility is a must.
