A new street festival, Harvest for Heroes, will celebrate veterans and talk cannabis this Saturday in downtown Long Beach.
Catalyst Cannabis, the Long Beach-based chain of marijuana dispensaries, is sponsoring the music and lifestyle festival in conjunction with The Blacklist an online movement to educate the cannabis community. On Pine Avenue between Fourth and Sixth streets (and in front of the Catalyst dispensary downtown), the festival will run from 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 13.
There will be two stages of music headlined by Chali2na and House of Vibe Allstars. A Boo’s Just For Fun Skatepark will dominate the intersection of Fifth Street and Pine Avenue. There also will be a veterans area there with services, and the first 250 Veterans to receive a Veterans wristband will be provided a barbecue dinner courtesy of Stiiizy and also receive a gift bag of natural medicine products for $1 at the Catalyst Dispensary.
There also will be a food and beverage area, and entrance to the party is free. Since it is an outdoor event, there is no indication of COVID-19 restrictions on promotional material.
