The suspect accused in the shooting death of Ohio State University student Reagan Tokes, 21, appeared in court Monday morning.
Brian Lee Golsby appeared in Franklin County court and his attorney did not object to the state’s request for Golsby to be held without bond, according to our news partner WBNS-10TV in Columbus.
Tokes’ father spoke to reporters following Monday’s appearance and said, “We will get through this…justice will be served.”

A new charge of rape has been filed against Brian Lee Golsby in the death of a 21-year-old Ohio State University student Reagan Tokes, our news partner WBNS-10TV in Columbus reported.
Golsby, 29, a registered sex offender, already was jailed on suspicion of aggravated murder, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated robbery following his arrest Saturday by Grove City police. He is due Monday morning in Franklin County Municipal Court.
Tokes was a senior psychology major expected to graduate in May. She was found dead Thursday with two gunshot wounds.
Grove City police said Golsby, a registered sex offender, admitted to kidnapping Tokes from the area of North High Street and Third Avenue Wednesday night after she left work, according to a complaint filed in Franklin County Municipal Court. Golsby had just gotten out of prison in November 2016 after serving six years for rape and kidnapping in a Grove City case, WBNS reported.
