The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a wind advisory, in effect from noon to 1 a.m. Thursday, for the Miami Valley and Southwest Ohio.
Winds out of the west will be sustained at 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph continuing through the evening, according to NWS.
Hazards with the high winds include potential damage to trees, power lines and properties. High winds can make driving difficult, especially for high-profile vehicles.
