COLUMBUS, Ga. – Supporters of a medical marijuana bill going through the Georgia House say the gloves are off.
Hundreds are expected to meet at the steps of the Capitol in Atlanta tomorrow to demand attention from the Governor.
Supporters of the medical marijuana bill making its way through the Georgia House will meet at the capitol tomorrow afternoon to officially deliver their petition to the governor’s office.
We have been following Troup County father Dale Jackson who is hoping medical marijuana will help his 7 year old son Colin who is non-verbal autistic .
Jackson along with many other families hoping to get this house Bill 722 passed spoke before a house committee last month.
They’ve collected more than 12,000 signatures for their petition in support of HB 722.
Jackson says they will make it their mission to hold their politicians accountable.
