The Warren County Drug Task Force announced Tuesday it completed its one-month investigation into an 18-year-old Mason, Ohio native now charged with drug trafficking.
Police informants first alerted authorities in January to Logan Fitzpatrick, who was trafficking in multiple drugs throughout Mason and Deerfield Township, said Maj. Steve Arrasmith, commander of the Warren County Drug Task Force.
Fitzpatrick was later found to be trafficking in bulk amounts of LSD, as well as marijuana and a synthetic designer drug known as 25C-NBOMe, Arrasmith said.
The synthetic designer drug, commonly known as 25C, has effects similar to LSD but is constantly changing and can therefore lead to accidental overdoses and death.
Fitzpatrick also sold detectives a sample dose of ecstasy, Arrasmith said.
Fitzpatrick’s age, along with the relatively large quantities of drugs he was trafficking, were of particular concern.
Fitzpatrick is in police custody. Additional information wasn’t immediately released.
