A south suburban teen met a girl on Facebook, kidnaped her and raped her in an abandoned Riverdale home, prosecutors said Saturday.
Leonard L. Johnson, 17, of Lansing, met the 18-year-old victim on Facebook, but the two communicated via Snapchat, prosecutors said.
The two met on Dec. 9 in Riverdale. Johnson allegedly grabbed the woman’s arm and pulled her into an abandoned home in the 13700 block of South Parnell, held her down and raped her as she screamed and cried, prosecutors said.
Johnson, who was 16 at the time of the alleged attack, is charged as an adult with felony aggravated criminal sexual assault and kidnapping.
He was arrested on his 17th birthday on Thursday at his high school, his attorney said.
Cook County Judge Peggy Chiampas ordered Johnson held Saturday on $150,00 bail and ordered him to avoid all contact with the victim, including on social media.
