A City of Cincinnati police dispatcher was arrested Tuesday after Drug Enforcement Agents found what they described in court records as “approximately a couple hundred pounds of marijuana” in her basement.
Teneal Poole, 36, of Silverton, is facing charges of possession of drugs and permitting drug abuse, both felonies.
Poole told authorities the marijuana belonged to her boyfriend, whom she lives with, and that she knew the drugs were in the home, court records said. A man who lives at the same address, 40-year-old Damian Gray, was also arrested Tuesday. He is facing charges of trafficking in marijuana and possession of drugs, according to court records.
City Manager Harry Black alerted city council members to Poole’s arrest in Tuesday memo. He said Poole, who is not an officer, has worked for the city since 2007, most recently as a supervisor in the 911 center.
Black said Poole’s job status is being reviewed.
