Licensee hopefuls have about 20 days left to prove they’ve got the chops to run one of Hawaii’s first medical marijuana dispensaries.
Applicants are preparing their proposals to submit to the state Department of Health in January.
PBN spoke with Steven Bronstein about what it has been like to prepare a proposal for one of the eight dispensaries set to open in July. Medical Medicinals is backed by Bronstein, Natural Wellness Center founder Ryan Ferchoff, University of Hawaii professor Harry Ako, Hui O Malama Aina owner Simon Russell, Oregon medical marijuana caregiver and grower Shauna McHugh, and U.S. veteran Robyn Smith.
