James Robinson, a 4-star wide receiver from Lakeland, Fla., was cited with a misdemeanor while on his official visit to Ohio State last weekend, records from the Franklin County Court show.
Robinson was cited for possession of marijuana last Saturday in Columbus.
Ohio State has moved on from Robinson since last weekend, as the Buckeyes switched their focus to other wide receiver targets, Land of 10’s Jeremy Birmingham learned.
Robinson is the No. 114 recruit in the 2017 class and the 14th-best wide receiver according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He is set to announce his decision on National Signing Day (Feb. 1) with Florida and Clemson as the favorites.
An original version of this story incorrectly stated that Robinson was arrested on the charge.
